GET READY FOR

YOUR PHOTOSHOOT

01

SKIN PREP

Skin prep  is crucial and needs special timing to be ready for shoot day The following items below are some ideas for your preparations.

02

FILLERS/BOTOX

Fillers/Botox  If you are someone that utilizes Botox &/or fillers, please have these done minimum 4-6 weeks prior to the shoot. This gives time for the fillers to settle in giving a more relaxed look to the face. And if there is any bruising or swelling from the needles, it will have time to heal.

03

DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning  in our opinion- is one of the best tools. It removes the top dead layer of skin, and peach fuzz, both are nearly impossible to remove during editing. It also allows makeup to go on flawlessly and stay set for the day. This procedure needs to happen minimum 1 week out of your shoot.

04

NAILS

Feet and toes should be freshly manicured with neutral nail polish- clean cuticles and callous-free feet!

05

WAXING

Waxing  minimum time in advance is 4-6 days prior to shoot. Please use Aloe Vera healing product such as ALOE SKIN GEL (www.aloelife.com) after waxing to minimize any imperfections from waxing.

06

SHAVING

Shaving arms & shoulders (of course legs too) are a nice added touch especially if they are hairy. Minimum time in advance 2-3 days. It is important to use a new razor for best results and to avoid razor bumps in the bikini area.

07

EXFOLIATING

Exfoliate the entire body- begin doing that 6-8 weeks out, and it is suggested twice a week leading up to the shoot. Don’t overdo it to irritate your skin. Consistency is key. An inexpensive product that works great for exfoliation is baking soda. Keep a small jar with some in your shower to have handy.

08

TANNING

We always encourage a professional spray tan the day before the shoot. If using sunbeds please do not allow yourself to have tan lines and do not burn your skin. It’s encouraged to stop sunbed use at minimum 2 weeks away from your shoot day. It is almost impossible to edit burned skin or uneven skin tones due to poor tanning choices.

If you are fair- skinned or have not used sunbeds in your past, please do not try them close to the shoot. You can just wait to have your professional spray tan.

09

DRINK WATER

When you are hydrated, your skin looks best and you perform at your best!  Try drinking a gallon of water a day 4 weeks prior to your shoot day and leading up to your shoot.

10

VITAMINS

It is important to take extra care of your immune system. Using a great multi vitamin and if possible, take extra Zinc, Vitamin C, and D3. We want you to feel your best and be ready for your shoot!

11

REST

It is important to allow your body to rest and recover properly leading up to your Epic shoot! 7-9 hrs. per night is advised for minimum week out.
